Thumbs up to:
Isla Kate -- A simple and elegant name.
Claire Julianna -- Julianna is lovely, and Claire flows nicely with it. I think it would sound even better the other way round though: Julianna Claire.
Elodie Pearl -- Sweet and pretty, and it flows very well.
Thumbs down to:
Jemma Olive -- I'm not keen on either name, and the flow isn't so great. How about Olivia Jemma?
Della Jasmine -- I quite like Jasmine, but I don't really like Della. Delilah Jasmine would be pretty.
I love your taste in boy names, I thumbed them all up! My favourite was Liam Edward, and I also love Emmett, Elliot and Nathaniel. Great combos!
Here's my name list, thanks for voting!

What do you think of my favourite baby names?
Please tell me why or why not you like or dislike these names? I'd just really like to know. Also, Manelle is my grandmothers name. That is why it sounds so weird. Thanks in advance :)
Boys:
Noah Lennox
Braxton Avery
Jackson Ryder
Jude Dawson
Aiden Hart
Girls:
Isabella Breanne
Ava Manelle
Shiloh Olivia
Alyssa Reagan
Chloe Sophia
What do you think of my favourite baby names?
Boys:
Noah Lennox :: Love Noah, not so sure on Lennox. But it's a great combo. 8/10
Braxton Avery :: Love it! Braxton was my grandpa's name and you've used Avery on the right gender! Stellar name! 10/10
Jackson Ryder :: Not so sure on Jackson. I see it as a nickname. But at least you haven't spelt it "Jaxon". That annoys me. Ryder's a great name. 9/10
Jude Dawson :: Jude isn't my type of name, but I kinda like Dawson. I've never heard it as a name before. 7/10
Aiden Hart :: Aiden is getting ridiculously popular, but it's nice. I've never heard of Hart as a name either, but I love it! 9/10
Girls:
Isabella Breanne :: Isabella is also crazy popular, but it's quite nice. Breanne's nice but I prefer Brianna. 6/10
Ava Manelle :: Ava is also popular but nice. Manelle I'm not sure about, but it's great that you want to use a family name. 8/10
Shiloh Olivia :: Shiloh is a lovely name, but my mind automatically makes the Brangelina connection. I think everyone does. Olivia is a lovely name. 8/10
Alyssa Reagan :: I love them both! Alyssa is gorgeous and Reagan is fabulous. 10/10
Chloe Sophia :: Don't like Chloe. Sounds trashy to me. Sophia is absolutely lovely though. 6/10
Favorites :: Braxton Avery %26amp; Aiden Hart (although I love Ryder)
:: Alyssa Reagan %26amp; Isabella Breanne
Reply:Boys:
Noah Lennox - I love it! Noah is timeless and Lennox makes it unique
Braxton Avery - Braxton is very unique but I do not like Avery, but over all great name!
Jackson Ryder-- I love it! Ryder is one of my favorite middle names
Jude Dawson-- Im not a fan of Jude, but it sounds great as Dawson Jude
Aiden Hart-- Aiden is becoming way over used and I swear ive heard of someone named Aiden Hart
Girls:
Isabella Breanne- Isabella is becoming way too popular, but i love the spelling of Breanne
Ava Manelle - Middle name is beautiful, Ava too popular
Shiloh Olivia- Shiloh is very cute, but not with Olivia really
Alyssa Reagan- Beautiful!
Chloe Sophia-- My favorite :)
Reply:Noah Lennox --- It's a nice combination. Noah's very classic and Lennox is a little unexpected. In a refreshing way. It's cute. I like it.
Braxton Avery --- I love seeing Avery on a boy. It's a favourite of mine. But I really don't like Braxton - it seems super trendy to me. Trendy names get very dated very quickly. I just don't like the sound either. It's not pleasing in my opinion. Jackson Avery would be nice though!
Jackson Ryder --- I like Jackson a lot. I really do. Dislike Ryder though - I think it's trendy, dated and a bit cheesy. Sounds like the name of some overblown hero in a trashy romance novel. I'd rethink the middle name.
Jude Dawson --- Love both names and they are really great together.
Aiden Hart --- I'm okay with it. I loved Aiden for a long time before it got popular. Unfortunate it (and Aidan, Aden, Ayden, Aidon and various other forms) are so bloody common these days. It's sort of diminished the name for me. But I completely understand people who use it. Hart's interesting.
Isabella Breanne --- It flows well, but frankly I'd like Brianne Isabelle better. Isabella's a bit too princessy and common in my opinion. I was never a fan.
Ava Manelle - Looooove. And I love the fact that it has sentimental importance to you. It's beautiful.
Shiloh Olivia --- I could never get over the dog reference with Shiloh.
Alyssa Reagan --- Alyssa's pretty. Dislike Reagan (wasn't that a president?). It just sounds ugly and ... squat to me.
Chloe Sophia --- I like the names. Seperately. The long 'o' sound in both of them is a bit rhyme for me.
Reply:Noah Lennox- love the name Noah. Lennox might be associated with the store..
Braxton Avery- I love both of these names. They sound great together, too.
Jackson Ryder- Ryder is a really nice name. I like Jackson, too.
Jude Dawson- Dawson is nice, I'm not a big fan of Jude though.
Aidan Hart- Hart is unique, might not suit a boy that well. Aidan is adorable!
Isabella Breanne- really pretty names. they flow nicely.
Ava Manelle- I think Manelle is really cute. It sounds nice with Ava.
Shiloh Olivia- love this name. Both of those names are really nice.
Alyssa Reagan- Reagan is such a pretty name for a girl! I love Alyssa, too.
Chloe Sophia- Chloe is adorable. Sophia is pretty.
My favorites: Braxton Avery %26amp; Shiloh Olivia
(:
Reply:Noah Lennox -is pretty awesome. I like Lennon too. (as in John)
Braxton Avery-Braxton is yuckie and Avery is beyond overused
Jackson Ryder-Ryder is great, Jackson sounds like an old man
Jude Dawson-both awesom, I love the name Jude, I am sad that it is getting so trendy because I really wanted to use it
Aiden Hart-the Aiden trend is rediculous, Aiden, Kayden, Jaden, Hayden, Braeden, so trendy and tired and Hart is just strange for a boy
Isabella Breanne-Isabella is the second most popular name in the country for two years running, very trendy, she will be one of many in her class and Breanne is blah
Ava Manelle-Ava is boring, Manelle is weird, girls names shouldnt start with the word MAN
Shiloh Olivia-both very pretty
Alyssa Reagan-Alyssa is very pretty, Reagan is a little masculine for my taste
Chloe Sophia-Chloe is one of my least favorite names, it sounds so cheap and empty, Sophia is pretty but very trendy
Reply:Noah Lennox: Noah is cute but I don't like Lennox.
Braxton Avery: Don't like at all. Prefer Avery on a girl.
Jackson Ryder: Jackson is a nice name but I don't like Ryder very much.
Jude Dawson: Don't like.
Aiden Hart: I love the name Aiden but prefer the spelling Aden. I don't like Hart though.
Isabella Breanne: Isabella is a nice name and I love the nickname Bella. Breanne is okay too.
Ava Manelle: I don't like Manelle at all it sounds too masculine. I do like Ava though.
Shiloh Olivia: I love the name Olivia but not Shiloh.
Alyssa Reagan: I love the name Alyssa and the nickname Aly. Reagan is ok.
Chloe Sophia: Very cute.

Benjamin Ian Miller... It's not really my tastes, but you could shorten it to Ben and that's not bad. You've chosen quite well.

And if you are from Spanish descendency (due to the name Franco), have you considered a more spanish like name for the boy?
I hope your baby is lovely, healthy, and bright! As every Mom expects!

Reply:Love Benjamin Alan, such a classy combo and Benjamin is so handsome. For a girl I'm torn between Christina May and Camilla Arielle, both are just lovely. Chloe is also one of my favorites, it's spunky and fun and it flows very well with Adele. Very nice names!
Reply:i like Benjamin and Felicia (:
Reply:Boy;
Marlon Robert Franco - 6/10 - It's okay but nothing special. Marlon reminds me of the fish in finding nemo. How about Mason Robert Franco? that would be a 10/10!
Benjamin Alan Franco - 8/10 - It's a very common name, but Benjamin is really classy and gorgeous for a boy. Can go by Benji as a little boy, Ben as he gets older and Benjamin as an adult. Very nice! Alan goes pretty well.
Girl;
Lizette Noel Franco - 4/10 - I'm not a fan of Lizette because its a bit old-fashioned to me, and Noel sounds like a boys name, im sorry. But together they do sound quite nice. I also like Lizabeth instead of Lizette? you may want to think about that option..
Camilla Arielle Franco - 7/10 - I love Camilla but Arielle wrecks the name. Definately go with Camilla Rose Franco - that 10/10... I love that Camilla can be the name of an adult easily, and Millie is a suitable nickname for when shes young.
Adriana Rose Franco - 9/10 - I like this name a lot, butnot as much as Camilla Rose. Adriana reminds me of the drug addict from 90210, but i wouldnt worry about that because no one really watches that anyway! Other than that association, its a lovely name. But i can think of any cute nicknames.. Maybe Anna? idk..
Felicia Nicole Franco - 1/10 - Okay i hate the name Felicity so Felicia doesnt do it for me either. Its very pretentious and makes me think of a spoilt brat. Im sorry to be so harsh, but your other names are much nicer than this one. Nicole is OK.
Chloe Adele Franco - 7/10 - This is a nice name but nothing i would rave about. Its simple and sweet but not beautiful and unique like i would name my child.
Christina May Franco - 6/10 - (Comment same as the above name)
Suggestions: Chase Robert Franco; James Alan Franco and Dahlia Mae Franco.
Congrats and Good Luck,

Camilla Arielle is just too cute! And I like Cristina May as well!!
Reply:I like Benjamin Robert Franco and Chloe Adele Franco
Reply:I prefer Benjamin to Marlon.
As for the girl's names, Lizette and Felicia are so dated.... I think that Adriana Rose goes best with Franco.
And if you are from Spanish descendency (due to the name Franco), have you considered a more spanish like name for the boy?
I hope your baby is lovely, healthy, and bright! As every Mom expects!
Peace %26amp; luv!

Can anyone think of any really weird baby names?
Me and my partner are trying for a baby and we want a really ridiculous baby name to make our child a fun and free-willing kindred spirit.
Can anyone think of any really weird baby names?
Yes! Okay, don't listen to people if they say that "Don't be cruel!" because I know for a fact that at my school, people with cool/weird names are fun.
Serendipity- This is such a fun name! Its cute, and if she hates it then she has many different options for names.
Avalon- Very pretty/weird
Huckleberry (for a boy)
Think of countries... maybe France, Malaysia, Japan...
Reply:That's what actress Barbara Hershey tried to do when she named her son Free Seagull. He changed his name to Tom at age fourteen because he realized that his name was ridiculous. Nevertheless, why not choose a name from music, literature or art?
Monet ("mo-Nay")
Matisse ("ma-TEES")
Dali
Jagger
Lennon
Elvis
Copland ("kope-land")
Fitzgerald (nn Fitz)
Steinbeck (nn Beck)
Reply:I really hope you are joking.
You can't "make" your baby be anything. He will be his own person, and trying to force him to be a "kindred spirit" if he isn't anything like you is abusive.
Reply:Hmmm....here are some weird names, though the name doesn't really make the child a certain way:

What do you think of my baby names?
I'm not sure I'm pregnant yet but I absolutely love baby names.
For boys I like:
Grayson Alexander

For girls I like:

What do you think? Maybe different middle names? I'd love to hear your opinions!! I'm also looking for other names that are different but not too popular. I want it to be something that's beautiful but not too common. Any suggestions are great.
Thanks!

Where can i find baby names BASED off of meanings?
I want to name my child something meaningful, but i don't know what. I want to name him/her along the lines of curious, observant, or something of the sort. Does anyone know a website that i can type in meanings and get names based on the meanings, instead of the other way around.
Where can i find baby names BASED off of meanings?

Reply:behindthename.com is fantastic and the most reliable site I have found. It is geared more toward etymology of names in general not just "baby names" like a lot of the other less reliable sites. It has a fantastic message board too with lots of knowledgeable people that post there.

What do you think of these baby names?
Bluebell for a girl.
Wiki for a girl or a boy.
What do you think of these baby names?
The one I like best is Bluebell.
http://hankinslawrenceimages.files.wordp...
And they're very pretty flowers.
Reply:Depends, do you want your kids to get beat up?
Those are ridiculous names. There's an easy test to check if a baby name is bad. 1.Imagine someone using the name when they're 1 2.Imagine someone using the name when they're 20 and 3.Imagine someone using the name when they're 90. Did it feel "weird"? If so it's a bad name.
Reply:Wow...what, really?
Bluebell is an ice cream company...and that's how it should stay.
If you're going with a flower, do Lily...
Wiki is short for Wikipedia...and that's also how it should stay.
Unless these are pet names, like for a dog.
But if you're trying to be unique...find a more normal unique name (If that even makes sense).
Not a name that will have your child be made fun of for the rest of its life.
You might as well name it Apple or Rainbow like those stupid celebrities did.
Sorry, but you asked.
Don't ask if you don't expect truthful "rude" opinions.
Reply:You ever see The 10th Kingdom? Bluebelle is the name of a troll, who's on the bad side. Do you want your child associated with an ugly creature? I hope not.
Wiki would definately not work for a boy! But in all fairness these both could probably be used as middle names, for girls.
Reply:I really hope your joking, the only time i would name a kid that is if i wanted him to be bullied for the rest of there lives.
omg this isnt a joke.
Reply:You should find a name that have good meaning. You can find in Babies name dictionary for references. Don't play with babies name if you really care to your baby
Reply:Bluebell is lovely for a girl, but only in the middle name spot. Wiki reminds me of the Wikipedia.
Reply:hmmm...not totally fussed..sorry, you did ask!
Bluebell is ...ok I guess but not real fussed on Wiki, where is that from? what does it mean?
Reply:Gross for Wiki.
Bluebell is pretty for a middle name.
Reply:bluebell?
idk,
but she might be bullied or teased in that name...
wiki?

Reply:Bluebell would be an adorable middle name, other than that, just no.
Reply:Ohh noooes. Please tell me it's a baby dog or baby cat... NOT a baby human.
Reply:I think those are the ugliest names I have ever heard!

or something along those lines.but kudos for the unique names
Reply:bluebell?
idk,
but she might be bullied or teased in that name...
wiki?

Can someone give me a link of old fashioned baby names and hopefully the nicknames that go with them too?
Tell me your favourites too if you want!!! Thanks in advance!
Can someone give me a link of old fashioned baby names and hopefully the nicknames that go with them too?
Look for Irish names or Scottish or English and they will have names that seem oldfashioned.
Look in the obituary section of your newspaper and you will find names that are beautiful but not seen much any more.

My fiance and his whole family have the initials DDT. Deon, Dana, Damian, Dwight, Dennis, Daniel, Devon, Dimitrius are all taken. Plus, I can not think of pretty girl names that start with D.

What do you think of the baby names i picked out?
I want all my children to have double middle names so this is what Im set on..
Owen Mark-Douglas King
Wyatt Christopher-Neal King
Gabrielle Grace-Lynn King
The middle names for the boys are
family members of mine names.
Do they all sound good?
What do you think of the baby names i picked out?
Gabrielle Grace-Lynn King
that the only one i like
Reply:Call me traditional, but I think a first, middle, and last name are sufficient. Who started this two first names business?
Reply:hello,
If i HAD to choose one set of those names, i would go with Wyatt Christopher-Neal King. however, know that if a child grows up and doesnt like their first name they will prefer to be called by their 2nd name in this case it would be chris. remember that kids pick on kids, and if you chose Grace for a boy, he would endlessly be picked on. not good....
Id have to say, keep looking.
Im not saying go with something thats so popular, that your kid wont have an original name, but try and pick something that he will like, something that cant be picked on, for example, Wyatt, could be turned into , hey why you at? stupid things kids do. ok for example, ill give you my name, b/c i cant think of a good one, my name is Lanora, and okay i hate to admit this, but at times i was jokingly called, La-hora. (this was before i lost my virginity)
Thats all. names are important, and i waited untill i got to know my baby for a few days to see which name would be best.
Hope this helps,
Lanora
Reply:They're all lovely:)
Reply:I like the idea of two middle names too. I used to hate it, but about a year or so ago, I just fell in love with a couple names and have loved the idea ever sense.
I don't like the hyphen however, I'd just ditch that.
Owen Mark Douglas King- This is really sweet. I think it flows well
Wyatt Christopher Neil King- This is nice, but Neil and King next to each other start to sound a little choppy.
Gabrielle Grace Lynn King- Honestly, I'm not a fan of any of these names, but that's just personal preference. However, I don't think this name flows too well since Grace Lynn and King are all one syllable.
Owen Mark Douglas is definitely my fave.

Why is it that everyone on baby names is giving their kids all these common names ?
I can see exactly the same names on baby names at least 5 questions in a row, brayden Jayden Cayden Aiden as well as all the other repetative names/ and the "unique spellings of the same names? Doesn't it get boring reading all these questions and suggesting the same old names?
Why is it that everyone on baby names is giving their kids all these common names ?
Well those are the popular names right now - 100 years ago I suppose it would have been Mary, John and William that every second baby was called. Yes I'm heartily bored with them!
Middle names like Rose, Lily, Grace etc are called "filler" names because they go well with almost any first name - especially long elaborate names like Arabella or Victoria. They are so popular because they work! Nearly everyone says they despise them, yet they sound so nice with everything it's hard to get away from them.
