When you have two names picked out for same-sex twins, how do you decide which baby gets which name?

Do you go by first and second ones born? Just pick at random? Bigger and smaller one?


I'm not pregnant but it's something I always wondered :)

When you have two names picked out for same-sex twins, how do you decide which baby gets which name?
Personally, I would wait until they're born to decide who gets which name. One may be a bit calmer than the other, so that one would get the name that kind of sounds airy or delicate (but that will obviously depend on the names I have picked out). I absolutely love the names Isabella and Angelica. If I ever had twin girls, I would wait until they're born then see which one is calmer, and name her Angelica. I would name Isabella the one that has a stronger, more loud personality. 鈾モ櫏鈾モ櫏

It will just come naturally to you....


A good thing to do is pick out some favorite names and then go to some sites and look up the meanings ......


It should be fun and educational....


A child's name is something that will stay with them their entire life, so it's a very important decision to make...


Take your time, be wise and let your heart be your guide...

Reply:Well you could just flip a coin. Or you can do it alphabetically. For example, if you were going to name your twin girls Ashley and Jessica, you would call baby A, Ashley, and baby B, Jessica, because A comes before J.

Reply:By the one that comes out first. If they're fraternal twins, then you decide which one looks more like the name that you chose.

My partner's siblings weren't named until their dad had to say their names at their bris.
