I really want Eva Elizabeth
and Leah Isabelle
will my future husband probs let it slide?
do they care really?
Do men usually let the mom pick the baby names?
Mine cares he wont let me name the baby what I want unless he agrees with it.
Reply:If its a girl I pick the first name and he picks the second, if its a boy he picks the first I pick the second. He wants to have it 50 /50 and I dont mind at all. :)
Reply:I picked the First name and my husband picked the middle name for our last son, I am due with another boy and this time he will pick the first and I will pick the middle.
Reply:some men do some don't. my husband and i decided that if we have a boy he names him and if we have a girl i name her.
Btw those are both beautiful names im sure your future husband will be fine those names!
Reply:Well yes they care , It is their child to ...... They not going to let you name the child something they Absolutely hate .
Me and my g/f Pick out all the names together nad than narrow it down usually to 2 or 3 we both like and then she gets to pick ..... Because you know she does have to carry the baby for nine months and go through labor....
But she chooses out of 3 names we both REALLY like ...
your names are very pretty so he might not have a problem with them at all you just never know.
Reply:As long as you make them feel like they have a say so in the pick of the name then they don't care. But if you are uptight and say it's my way or the highway, they will reject your decisions.
Reply:For our first children, he picked for one gender, and I picked for the other. However, if we both don't like the name, we wouldn't name OUR child that. It is pretty much 50/50.
Your future husband probably wouldn't appreciate you naming their child something that he despises. Girls think about what they want to name their children for a lot longer than guys do.
I wanted my daughter's name to be Amanda since I was a little girl, and I also wanted her middle name to be after my mom. My husband didn't protest naming her Amanda Leila when the time came. Then I liked the name Brandon forever, and our son became Brandon Matthew (hubby picked Matthew).
Reply:They do care its their child also, my husband actually suggested our daughter's name and it grew on me I fell in love with it (Keeley)
Reply:I think that they do.
After all it is their child aswell so im prety sure that they arent just going to care.
But i hope that when i have a child that my husband likes and agrees with the names that i like.
Because i already have a list of girls first names and middle names
and a list of boys first names and middle names that i want to call my future children so im hoping that he will let me call them those names.
Reply:Depends on the man you decide you have children with.
Some seem to be pretty militant (I know a guy who insists on his daughter being named after him. So his daughter's name is Michael. Yeah. Weirdness)
On the other hand. My mother couldn't GET input out of my father. She could have named us Ukulele and Chihuaua and he would have been fine. Conversations apparently went like this "Do you like the name Helga?" "Sure" "What about Jade" "Cool" "What about Skyler" "Nice" "What about Urika" "Yeah, okay". "Jesus will you have an opinion on ANYTHING???" "... Well.. No."
Like most other family things, my sister and my names were left entirely up to my mother. She chose our names enitrely.
Reply:During your/my parents day yeah. But if I have a kid no way. For some reason girls nowadays pick ridiculous names for their kids like Summer, Autumn, or *shudder* Bluebell (not kidding. Bluebell) Or for a boy Aidan, Mackenzie, and Jaydan
Can you image an 80 year old grandmother named Autumn?
