thank you ;]

What are the best kind of names to name a baby?
whatever you like.... i personally go for names with good meanings behind them!
Reply:well, i say just a name that you LOVE or you will regret simply going with what others like. go with a name that your baby can grow with %26amp; not sound lame as an adult. i think some trendy names are cute, but as the child grows the name still sounds babyish. so, i say to ponder these things too.
Reply:ummmm...I would say Unique because noone wants to sit in a classroom and and be one of the 5 jaydens or aidans. And classic and old fashion names are just not my style. But I wouldn't go past unique to wierd like some names i've seen.
Reply:Naming a child is personal to the couple. Some persons like to have their legacy continue by naming their child after grandparents, or even further down like great great grandparents. But if you are not into tradition then here is a list of popular names to consider:

Seth

Benjamin

Kaitlyn

Lisa

Sarah

Sasha

Michele

Zara

Taylor (boy or girl)
Reply:whatever you like
Reply:I'm starting to like the old-fashioned names. I think it should be the new baby trend, and knock out the crazy weird names.
Reply:I like the classic ageless names, they can be a newborn or over 100

Names like: Elizabeth, John, Catherine, David, Michael, Joseph, James, Anne, Victoria, Danielle, Rebeca, Aaron, Alexander, etc

Saying that, I gave my daughter a trendy name

It's was the only name both my husband and I agree on and that when with our harsh last name

I think a name needs to go with the last name and both parents love the name. In my case, with a girl, we only found one trendy name be both agree on. If he had a boy, we agree with several strong classic ageless names
Reply:Classic, old fashion...some trendy

I HATE UNIQUE NAMES! thier usually weird and ugly sounding...go with something thats good, normal, and fits them well. dont go all out there and make them sound like a circus clown or something. i've seen some pretty crazy names on this. the ugliest of the ugliest....and seriously...just give them a name that will make them happy in the future....not something that will make them be made fun of.

:(
Reply:I prefer classic, strong names. I have two boys. One is James and the other is Samuel.
Reply:Please, dont be like one of those people that want to name their child, Irelyn, (as in ireland, the country).

i Mean seriously.

You should have NO OLD-FASHIONED.

NO TRENDY. If you know trends, as in clothes, they eventually go out of style, and you want a name that never gets old, so then your child will have a normal life.

Have a Classic-meets-Unique.

As in,

Ariana-girl- not many girls have it and its not like it doesnt sound pretty and isnt OUT THERE.

Adrian- Girl- not many ppl have this name, but sitll, you have heard of it right?

(i have no idea whats with A's)

Trevor- Boy- It sounds off the edge as in Trendy, but still classic, heard of, but not Old fashioned like Mike, or tom. I mean serioulsy,

Jacob- leaning more towards classic- boy. Leaning more towards classic because of how you have seen TONS of jacobs,

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the advice i said before, dont go too far OUT THERE, it just makes ur child miserable. in misery :)
Reply:The name depends on what you like .. I like unique .. If I have a girl I have these names picked out:

Reply:It really matters what you and the father (if he is in the picture) like.

In my opinion, I would stay away from trendy names because my 5th grade class had 4 Jessicas and 5 Dannys. I wouldn't want my child to e one of many.

On the other hand, having a Unique name seems to be getting out of hand. I would want my child to be able to spell his/her name. His/her name would be mispronounced all their lives, which believe me, is annoying after a while.

I would stick with names that you like that also have nicknames. I hated my name all my life (mainly because it was old-fashioned and pronounced wrong Joesipheene, pronounced as Josephine) and always went by my middle name or a nickname. It is also a nice option when there are multiple of the name in a class. In one class I taught we had a couple of Emilys, this transformed to E, Emily Jo, Emmy, and Lee. For that reason I tend to gravitate toward more classic names like Zachary, Isabelle, Jonathan etc.
Reply:Well now a days everyone is going for Unique names , so there kids wont have 4 other Sara's in the class with them but it's going to back fire cuz everyone is picking unique names ... If you want your kid to be the only name in the class go with a a cute simple older name ..

These names use to be sorta unique and now everyone has them

aurora

Aaliyah

Hannah

Alexis

Zoey

But you probably wont see many

Anna

Jade

Amy

sara
Reply:It all depends on what YOU like. Not everyone will like everyone else's names. Some people would call classic and old-fashioned boring and some would call trendy and unique odd. So in that case, the name we chose for our daughter to us is old-fashioned with a trendy spelling could be interpreted by others to be a boring name with odd spelling. lol Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder/ baby namer. Good Luck!
Reply:Josh Lindig.

It's a strong, ruggid, manly name. And it means "god rescues"

And use alan for the middle name, it's meaning is "rock"

:D :D : D :D

Reply:Something that you are going to love. It's your child so don't care what other people like and what they want because it's your choice...and that's the best part because you get to make the decision :) I think that if you like unique then you go for unique...if you like old-fasioned you go for old fashioned. Typically..I like the names Lauren, Katelyn, Julie, Juliann, Julia, Alyssa..and those type of names for girls. For boys I like the names..Justin..that's my favorite...Anthony, Jake, Christopher and Nicholas. Those are my favorite girls names and boy names. Hope I helped and best of luck!! Take care...
Reply:i would go for a unique name because don't you hate it when someone shouts your name, you turn around and it turns out they were calling someone else- very annoying

i would go for a name that has a personal story or meaning behind it like:

lilly... your mothers favorite flower or something- hypothetically

:)
Reply:I think its all about personal taste.

My daughter's first name is an adaption of my niece's middle name. My daughter's middle name is her father's, aunt's and both grandfathers' names combined. Even if her name is considered popular and trendy by others, We know there's a reason behind her name.

So my personal opinion on names are that they should mean something to you. I also like biblical names, they've truly stood the test of time and there's no "going out of style" when you pick something that's been around for thousands of years.
Reply:I love Classics.
Reply:It's your baby, so name him/her what you like rather than what strangers like.
Reply:Well whatever name you will love and never get sick of. I really like the name Madelyn Grace for a girl because i think it is a beautiful name that i wouldn't get sick of. I like the name Madelyn because you can shorten it to Maddie. I like names that you can make shorter but they are still good names. I also like Rebecca Elizabeth. For boys i like Aaron Kiker. I always like Caden Matthew. all these names have different styles but i really like them.
